Why listen to me
I'm not a coach who's never run a crew.
I'm Chief Growth Officer and co-owner of a residential roofing company in Franklin, TN — built on a transparent, retail-first pricing model. I practice everything I teach inside my own company, in my own market, first.
Built from the ground up
Before roofing, I built and sold an auto retail company — around 4,000 vehicles sold over seven years, on the same mission-driven pricing philosophy I use today.
And I spent three-plus years being coached myself, inside Southwestern Group, by people who'd already built what I was trying to build. It cost money I didn't think I had, and time I had to make. It's also the reason I can sit across from an operator today and actually help — not theorize.
Here's what I've learned running businesses and coaching owners for over a decade: operators lack vision and sales strength. Marketing pros lack operational knowledge and grit. You need someone who's stood in both spots.
Results, not theory
Ten years ago, Dashaun was a door-to-door rep — our best one. He had big dreams but didn't understand the numbers behind his own work. We whiteboarded it once a week in my office. Six months later he left to build his own path. Today he's a national speaker and one of the most recognized names in door-to-door roofing sales.
Jake bought a roofing company at 28. When we met, it was him and one project manager — but he had big plans. He was a strong operator who needed a sales growth visionary. We built a 2-year aggressive plan and executed it exactly: $7M in year one, $18M in year two. Jake ran the company for five more years, then sold and retired.
"Simon has a rare ability to work backward from a problem until he finds the answer. We brought him in as a coach and fractional sales manager to lead our sales team and build a clear vision for the company. He took what we already had and turned it into a system we could actually run — and we grew from $3 million to over $7 million in a matter of months. I recommend him without hesitation."
Kelton reached out 7 months ago, aiming to go from $500K to $1M in a tougher-than-ever market. Last month he hit his best month yet — $160K — and he's on pace to clear $1M this year. More importantly, he now has the people, tools, and understanding in place to keep navigating it right.
